Being Human: Season 2 Finale

The second season of Being Human has come to a close, and after a season of many ups and downs, we are now left with a cliffhanger, which holds the lives (or non-lives of Aiden and Sally) of our three "monsterous" friends in question.

Sally is still feeling horrible about shredding ghosts when she was "the reaper", and she is trying to find a way to make amends for the lives (or non-lives) she destroyed. Her idea is to go to "limbo" to save them. I like Sally and I feel bad for her because she is really trying to find a way to make things right, but I don't think she has completely thought it through. She did try to think up different ways to get there, but ultimately she had to shred herself. I have no idea what awaits her on the otherside, but her ominous shouts out to her roommates for help through the radio are enough for me to know that season 3 can't come quick enough.

Josh is in an extremely vulnerable state following the death of Julia last week. Although her death was an accident, he blames himself. I thought it was brave of him to attempt to go to her funeral, but I am very glad his sister had enough sense to keep him away. After leaving Julia at the alter, even if they had made up and were trying again, there was no way her family and friends would want to see him there. Now that he knows that killing Ray is the way to cure both him and Nora, Josh is on a dangerous mission and is coming close to becoming something he is not. With the help of Sally (before she went off to Limbo) Josh lured Ray out into the woods so he could execute him. I know Josh really thought he could do it, but he's not a killer, and once Nora appeared I knew things would take a turn. We were left with two guns, one pointed at Josh, the other at Ray and two shots after the screen faded to black. Not sure what the outcome will be when we return.

Aiden is now in deep, literally. Once Suren decided to go back to her mother, I knew he would still somehow get screwed. In flashbacks Aiden is shown visiting Suren's grave (live burial site) on her anniversary, and mother isn't all that thrilled with the visits. Aiden loves Suren and is willing to do anything to be with her, so I wasn't surprised with his plan to kill Mother. Not a very good idea, but understandable. Aiden's plan was discovered (big surprise) and for his betrayal Mother wanted him killed, and who better to do it than the her newly named successor - her daughter Suren. Things didn't go as Mother planned, because Suren couldn't do it, she loved Aiden as much as he loved her. Mother's choice of action, stake her own daughter - harsh. Guess she won't be winning any mother of the year awards. Aiden tried to attack Mother but the other vampire counsel held him back. Mother decided that instead of killing him, she will make him suffer the same way she made her daughter suffer all those years - live burial. Aiden accepted his fate, and before they closed his casket and began filling in the hole he told Mother she would have to spend the rest of her life knowing she killed the only person who ever loved her - Ouch. Poor Aiden. How will he get out of this predicament? In last week's episode he called in a favor with the vamp Dutch leader, so maybe he will play a part in setting him free, time will tell.

Now the season is over and we are left wait to find out what happens to the three kooky friends. With Sally in Limbo, Aiden stuck underground, and the uncertainty of whether Josh was shot I for one will anxiously await the arrival of next season...and it came come fast enough.
